Aug 14, 2020

Email marketing, a term used so often in the VA (virtual assistant) world, but what does email marketing really entail when it comes to increasing your sales? Is it really important? If so, why do I need it? Well friend, today I am going to share with you how you can increase your conversion rate by improving your email marketing strategy. You’ll be surprised at the value it adds to your business. First, let’s take a look at some important pieces your emails need.

Visually Appealing

It is very important to ensure that your emails are visually appealing and cohesive. You want your readers to not only enjoy reading your emails but find them easy on the eyes. It is vital that your emails fully embody your branding. You can do this by including your brand colors throughout your email layout and making sure that your company name and logo is within each of your emails at least one time. You want to make sure that your font is cohesive with your branding and consistent within your emails. Two or three fonts is okay, however, you don’t want to go too crazy with it! It’s also important to be sure to select a template or layout that has appropriate spacing and formatting. All of these little details will come together to make your emails visually pop and stand out to your audience.

Conversational Tone

When you’re writing your emails, always remember that an email is like a conversational piece…so you want to ensure you are using a conversational tone. It is very important when strategizing to increase the conversion of your email marketing. Think about it as if you were sitting down talking to your audience rather than writing a formal paper on your business. What would you tell them if you were chatting on the phone? This is key because when you have solid emails that stand out, you will consistently attract  your readers, which will, in return build trust. This is your chance to shine and let your audience get to know who you are. Don’t be afraid to show off your personality and really connect with your readers.

Have a Purpose
